7 quick questions with Ms. Rachel

Ms. Rachel has helped countless toddlers learn words and make connections through her wildly popular videos. But she's a hard no on glitter.

"I think us teachers have experiences that have made us not love glitter," Rachel Accurso, the educator behind the YouTube series "Songs for Littles," told PBS News Hour co-anchor Geoff Bennett.

The teacher-turned-content creator sat down for seven quick questions on topics including her favorite kids' song and her favorite thing about working with children. Watch for her full interview coming up on the PBS News Hour.

One kid song you secretly love?

I don't have to keep it a secret, because kids' music is awesome, and I am a huge Raffi fan. "Baby Beluga in the deep blue sea …"

What word do toddlers mispronounce that melts your heart?

"Lellow" for yellow.

What's the best off-screen activity for kids that parents usually overlook?

Play-Doh. Play-Doh's incredible. Get a fake microwave and have them make Play-Doh food. It's life-changing.

Glitter. Love it or hate it?

Hate it. Yes, it's just, cleaning glitter is just too intense.

What's one word your friends would use to describe you?

They would say loving, and they would say wacky.

Your favorite thing about working with children?

I love seeing the light bulb go off in children when they understand something or they want to share something, I just, I love that.

The one word that sums up your mission?

Love.
